Red River is a quaint, year around mountain town that is all about relaxation and fun! This “mainstreet” town is a favorite among families and couples alike. Situated at the base of the north slope of Wheeler Peak in the heart of the Sangre De Cristo mountains which includes Red River Ski Area, the views from anywhere in town are nothing less than stunning. Don’t be surprised if you walk past a Americana Music legend while strolling down main street as this is a favorite destination to many musicians and music festivals throughout the summer months. This town knows how to have fun! Summer activities are ample and not limited to just rafting.
